Bali is back and better than ever! Travellers are once again returning to Bali for the tropical beaches, outstanding accommodation and vibrant nightlife. Our calendars are booking up and flights are readily available once again. Entry restrictions have relaxed making Bali a highly desirable travel destination once again.
So what exactly is it like in Bali at the moment? To gain insight we chatted to our very own travel expert and local Bali resident Kelly Stonehouse. Kelly has answered all your travel questions and we have compiled a list of Bali’s Best Beach Clubs to get you dreaming about that next Getaway.
What is Bali like right now?
“Bali is certainly showing signs of becoming busy once again. With each day there are more people enjoying the beautiful Bail sunsets around Canggu, Legian and Seminyak beaches and amazing Sunrises along Sanur Beach.
Have restaurants reopened?
Most leading restaurants and Beach Clubs have reopened over the peak summer period, with the lovely Indonesian staff so happy to welcome you like a long lost family member. Please do be a little mindful, service might be a little slower than before and some items may not be available on the menu. Like most travel destinations it will take a little longer to get back to the way things were pre covid.
Is it easy to get around?
Traffic is getting busier with more tourists arriving so if you can walk somewhere, I would suggest you do that! When touring Bali, get an early start as the morning traffic is not so bad however allow extra time for the return trip back.
Travel Tip – When booking your accommodation in Bali we highly suggest booking through an agency as properties you see online may not be open or may no longer look like the images displayed. To avoid disappointment when you arrive, it is safer to book with an agent. Our Villa Getaways agents regularly inspect our villas to ensure the highest standards. We want you to fully enjoy your long awaited Bali Getaway.
Is it difficult to enter Bali?
From 18 May 2022, no RT-PCR test results are required to be taken prior to departure from the country or region of origin. Most countries can enter Bali with a Visa on Arrival. Regulations can change so we suggest you check the Bali Tourism website prior to making travel arrangements or chat to your Villa Getaways travel assistant who will be happy to help you.”
