Khao Phra Thaew National Park is one of the virgin rain-forest of Phuket and preserves many beautiful species of birds, flowers and especially known over the world for its Gibbon Rehabilitation Project.
The lush rain-forest also includes mountains, streams and little waterfalls to give a good trekking to the visitors. The streams of the forests are so pure that the local residents drink directly from it. The national park is an ideal place to breathe in fresh air, getting close to nature just being a part of the Gibbon rehabilitation project. Phuket Aquarium and Butterfly Garden as other such places that is popular with both adults and children alike. The Government manages the Phuket Aquarium and thriving to mimic the real underwater ambiance of the Andaman Sea in the Aquarium. The transparent walls and the underwater tunnels of the big aquarium display the natural underwater life, exhibiting the aquatics of Andaman Sea along with some of the rarest fishes. The aquarium also features a shallow pool where you can see and touch the shallow reef creatures. Ancient Buddhist Temples

The Wat Chalong temple is the largest and the most popular Buddhist temple. Inside the grand temple complex you can visit the main temple and learn more about Buddhism. Along with Wat Chalong Temple, a 45-meters high white marble statue of Lord Buddha in a temple on the hilltop of Chalong Bay is a popular place and is the largest statue in Phuket. The park is accessible only in dry season, from the month of December to April.
The turquoise water of the Marine Park allows visibility of up to 40 meters underwater offering magnificent views of the marine life inhabiting the blissful islands.
