If you are thinking of visiting South East Asia for a vacation with family or friends we highly recommend you stay in Phuket. Here is why…
Phuket is naturally beautiful – Many Phuket beaches have been stripped of shops and noisy beach clubs leaving behind the cleaner natural beauty of white sand and palm trees. The postcard perfect beaches are quiet and relaxing.
The food is amazing – There are consistently good and reliable fine dining restaurants as well as new and interesting venues opening regularly. However if you want to improve your own cooking skills we can arrange an in house Thai cooking class at your villa.
Safety – Having visited Phuket with family and friends countless times and never experiencing any safety issues, we can recommend Phuket as a safe and well established travel destination. Most of our villas are located within secure gated estates giving you extra peace of mind.
It’s easy to get around – One of the few travel destinations in South East Asia where traffic is not a big issue. You can drive around the island with ease. If you have driven anywhere in Bali in the last 5 years you will really appreciate this.
The fun atmosphere – There is always a party happening, day and night at the popular beach clubs and little beach side bars. Local Thai people are always warm, welcoming and ready to join in with the fun.
There are so many activities – When you stay in Phuket you can relax and be pampered at a leading day spa, play golf, snorkel or charter a yacht for a day of island hopping. Enjoy the great shopping, view the amazing Temples, go hiking, take the kids to a show or try water sports – the list is endless, you can enjoy your holiday the way you want.
Here are our favourite beach towns:
Kamala
Kamala offers the widest range of top luxury villas to stay in Phuket. The long expanse of beach is quiet and relaxing with Cafe Del Mar and HQ beach clubs at the far end for the party goers. Kamala has beautiful restaurants notably Silk at Andara and plenty of 5 star hotels to choose from. Above all, Kamala Villas offer total privacy, seclusion, peace and quiet.
Highly recommended Villa: Baan Santisuk
Why we like it: unbeatable ocean views from the infinity swimming pool, you feel on top of the world.
Surin
This former party beach is now quiet and picturesque. There is excellent shopping at Surin Plaza and great restaurants like Palm Seaside and Bocconcino. A stay in Phuket is not complete without a visit to Catch – the Island’s favourite beach club. Bang Tao and Layan Beaches are also within close proximity
Highly recommended Villa: Villa Laem Singh 3
Why we like it: Modern, light filled and family friendly Villa Laem Singh 3 is ideally located between Surin and Laem Singh beaches.
Patong
Every night is a party in vibrant and colourful Patong. The streets are lined with markets by day and busy nightclubs by night. To escape the crowds we recommend a visit to neighbouring Paradise Beach for a tropical adventure.
Highly recommended Villa: Villa Baan Paradise
Why we like it: The best value villa in Phuket, Baan Paradise can sleep 10 with a long list of inclusions to make your stay feel like you are truly in paradise.
Kata
There are 2 great beaches in Kata. Kata main beach is cosmopolitan and lively while Kata Noi is quiet but child friendly and great for snorkeling. Kata offers a good mix of markets, nightlife, restaurants and liveliness but with a more laid back vibe than Patong. There are family friendly villas within close walking distance of the beach.
Highly recommended Villa: Villa Beachside Kata Noi
Why we like it: If you are travelling with your family or a small group this townhouse has everything you need for an affordable vacation in a great location.
The sight of the green jungle against the aquamarine waters, the kind and smiley locals and the amazing Thai cuisine. This is why we love to stay in Phuket adn recommend it to all our clients!
